Guidelines for I Ching Counseling

I Ching counseling is different from other forms of counseling. It takes place by email correspondence, complemented, if needed, by a telephone conference afterwards. All our counseling is based on our book, I Ching, The Oracle of the Cosmic Way. To understand the answers, it is essential that you are currently a user of this book.
You first submit to us a brief description of your concern, by email. We then draw a hexagram to address the problem. Our job, as counselors, is to help you understand the “inner truth” of the problem, as defined by the hexagram; the “inner truth” includes all the negative influences coming from all parties in the situation. We then send you a summary of what we have learned about your problem, from the Cosmic viewpoint, and recommendations of the appropriate actions needed, which usually involve deprogramming the mistaken ideas and beliefs that have caused the problem. We include the necessary instructions for the deprogramming.
The counseling may concern health, relationship, workplace, money issues, or other issues of real concern. It is not the same as psychotherapy or psychoanalysis. 
We limit our first consultation to 1-1/2 hours, and will continue only if you wish to go further. The minimum charge is for one hour. Any follow-up telephone time is charged on the basis of the actual time spent.
